We're Saying " I Do"

March 16th. 2025

Bride and Groom Hugging Each Other

Our fairy tale begins

Our story is a sweet and cliché novel-like journey. We went from going to the same high school, to becoming friends in University, to having some time off as estranged friends, and finally rekindling our friendship to a loving lifelong relationship.

Rena POV: Who would have imagined that I would casually run into Ryan while visiting a Toronto bar for the first time? Some would call this destiny/fate ;)

Ryan POV: Honestly, I never thought there would be anyone who could deal with me until I met Rena. I just felt a connection that cannot be described in words. I’m sorry Rena, but you are locked in now :)

The proposal

A birthday engagement! One that was filled with laughter, joy, and represented who we are as a couple. Ryan planned this adorable proposal at the Royal Botanical Garden (as Rena loves flowers, as many of you know). As he started the lookout for the perfect place to propose, Rena could sense that Ryan was starting to get nervous and in the most gracious way possible asked him to skip the formalities and give her the ring. It ended in a burst of laughter and a casual walk with romantic and sweet words from Ryan.
